Revista Debater a Europa is a journal linked to the Europe Direct Information Centre of Aveiro, to Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of the Twentieth Century, University of Coimbra – CEIS20, in partnership with the Office of the European Parliament in Portugal, and with the European Commission Representation in Portugal. The number 6 is now being prepared, to be released in 2012, and its theme will be "Maastricht Treaty: 20 years later." The aim is thus to stimulate a set of reflections that will focus on the aspects considered in the title.

The magazine Debating Europe therefore calls on the submission of papers, in the form of papers or literature reviews, which will meet the listed topics.
Those interested in contributing should send email to debatereuropa@gmail.com with the indication of the expected title, an abstract up to 500 words and a biographical note (including name, degree and institution where it was obtained, institutional affiliation and complete address, telephone / fax, email and up to 5 recent publications)
For articles, the interested parties should also specify the thematic line in which they should be included. The sending of the paper should be made until February 28, 2012.
The contributions must be original and unpublished and may not have been submitted to other journals for publication. The texts may be presented in Portuguese, Spanish, French and English, and must be processed in Microsoft Word, Times New Roman, size 12, one space and a half (with the exception of long quotations and footnotes, which should be in size 10, single space).
The papers should not exceed 25 pages (including spaces, footnotes and bibliography) and be accompanied by a 100-word abstract and five key words in Portuguese and English.
